Primary Protection

Drysuit Systems for Ice Diving

Choosing the right drysuit is the foundation of winter diving. For ice diving and extreme cold, we recommend Trilaminate Drysuits for their versatility. They don't compress at depth, allowing you to control your buoyancy and warmth by adding thicker undergarments underneath.

  • Latex vs. Silicone Seals: Silicone remains flexible in sub-zero air temperatures.
  • Dry Gloves: Essential for maintaining dexterity in freezing water.
  • Telescopic Torso: Enhances movement for technical maneuvers.
Active Warmth

Electronic Heating Systems

In water temperatures reaching 0°C, passive insulation might not be enough for dives exceeding 30 minutes. Modern Electric Heating Vests and heated undersuits connect to an external battery canister via a specialized drysuit valve (E/O Cord).

This active heating keeps your blood flowing to your fingertips and prevents the early onset of hypothermia, ensuring safety during mandatory deco stops.
